What's in my bag? pt 2 (Less is more)
Hi girls,
Here a little blog; part two from the 'What's in my bag?' series.
It seems like this whole year things or persons have been gone, out of my life. Most of the time not so nice of course, but in some cases it apparently is needed. The motto 'Less is more' applies then.
And to follow this, I sort the clutter out again. This time it is the clutter in my bag, my handbag.
They say that you can read someone's personality from a bag and what's inside it.
In her funny book, 'Het zit op de bank en het zapt', writer and psychologist Yvonne Kroonenberg writes about it. 'In the bag lies the portable personality of the woman, the inside, that she doesn't show to everyone.' And lots of examples in it which made me laugh my ass off.
Don't know if my bag shows my personality. What I do know, is that when my bag (or house or car) is a mess, my mind is too, most of the time.
My bag now has gone from size maximum to size minimum. From a colorful hippiebag to a more simple, nice little handbag. It was a challenge, cos there's not much space to fill. But I succeeded.
Here's my new bag:
What's in it?
- my wallet
- one lipstick
- chewing gum
- a pen
- my phone
(optional: my agenda. It fits!)
No room left for a bottle of water or a sandwich, but since I've gone from a bike to a car again as well, I have plenty of room there.
What did I had to throw out of my old bag?
- Hairclips, medicinerecipies, shoppinglists, brochures, flyers, receipts, a notebook.
Now tell me, what is in YOUR handbag? Or when you don't wear one, where do you leave your stuff?
Love, Shan
