The Pendant of Mor-chapter 9: Quest of Josephine- Just A Tale

The bench, where Josephine will take a seat, next to an old man

'You know,
I once left my wife
There's no reason why and I have no excuse
Just followed my heart, needed to find myself in life
The only  place I felt at home was here, at the sea
And she brought me to places where I thought I could never be
She was the only one allowed to give me direction
And I felt free, so free...'

Then I consequently chose to take him
What goes around comes around, but he refused to see
My waves devoured him
For the first time he was scared although he knew
She gives and she takes
Then he realized what he would miss
and all he did grasp onto was this void inside

'Now I'm here with a few fishermen and I'm just...*nice sigh*
Well, here starts a new tale...'

He tells, he tells a tale
I gaze at the waves; they don't take me this time
Salty air and unknown words I now inhale
From a stranger, just a tale

Our eyes don't cross, our skins don't touch
cannot look into the eye, but hearing is enough

A fresh scent of eau de cologne
dims smoke of cigars-can't name their brand
Together we are, home alone
Home...? Home...home...home...home

He tells, he tells a tale
I gaze at the waves; they don't take me this time
Salty air and unknown words I now inhale
From a stranger, just a tale

A sigh of relief and a cough to pause
The words, he speaks so clear
It seems he needed to tell this someday
Words of his heart, he draws me near

Suddenly he takes my hand
A scrolled up sleeve shows an old tattoo
My breathing stops and....
He looks at me, saying: Bon Voyage
